These precious Doxie-mix puppies (three females) were dumped in a kill shelter along with their mother.   They are looking for good homes.   All have been given their puppy shots and wormed.

Now at the Humane Society, they may be viewed by a larger number of potential adoptors. Should any of them not be adopted, she will return to The Lighthouse.

Good News! Laverne was adopted by a loving family on Friday, September 10th, 1999.

These puppies, too, came close to being part of the statistics.   Thousands of puppies like these die every week in the humane society shelters across the country because pet owners fail to live up to their responsibility.
